Social Networking Sites – Enough yet?
It seems every time I talk to some one online, they are talking about the latest "social networking site" and how great it is for backlinks and traffic zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
So, mid way through a forum conversation at one in the morning, having drunk too much wine, I rashly decided to set up my own. I quickly logged into godaddy, found an appropriate name (Blog-Niche), told all my friends I was going to launch the next Digg and went to bed.
The next morning, I remember that I know nothing whatsoever about setting up a social networking site, but go ahead and download pligg and install it on my newly acquired domain. Now, I have no clue what to do with it and am too busy working to spend any time on it. But if youy want to leave a backlink at Mark's personal social networking site, it is here:
Social networking site for bloggers only. Blog Niche
When I work out how to use it, I will make it all pretty and flashy and the best blogger's social networking site ever. Bar none. For now........

That is way too much work, I feel like uniqueness will be really helpful…Targeted audience, not just mainstream….2c.
Considering that there are now so many social networks catering to such a wide range of niches, my biggest problem is finding ones relevant to me and related to my specific interests or product niches. Google seems to be inefficient and returns alot of irrelevant results. A good resource that I use to find them is this search engine for social networking sites.
Thanks guys. Uniqueness – I like that
@ sheree
you are saying correct. in the same time, we get more backlinks. So, submit articles some social networking sites. unique visitors also come to the site.
Wow its true setting up a phigg site really is idiot proof!
It took about ten minutes. I still have no idea what to do with it though
