Thanks for posting this, and letting us know on Hubpages –

it’s thoughtfully put together. Some fluff in places, but mostly good-humored stuff to lighten some of the tensions. There is absolutely no reason for any thinking person to believe in any deity presented to us in any of the religions examined by Maher’s movie.

The fact that some intelligent people I know believe in some form of god or are spiritual or religious continues to intrigue me, as I guess I’m searching for reasons to understand what such a belief could bring them, or me.

There are a lot of reasons why people delude themselves in this way. You are never alone for a start

Although, I think there is a world of difference between spiritual and religious. Once you have had a “spiritual” experience, you have absolutely no time for religions……
