Should it be a Kawasaki Z1000 or a Ducati Monster, that’s the question? I just wrote a seriously fun guide to 2008 street bikes over at HubPages. I’m liking the Z1 - It’s certainly cheaper than the Ducati.

But it has the most godawful exhaust system ever. Looks like a Trombone experiment gone badly wrong. So if you buy one,take a look at J&P Cycles for a decent replacement.
