Making money Blogging
This is just a short post - I do not have time for a long one today.
I was looking for ways to monetize a blog and noticed an awful lot of "make money blogging" blogs pushing or selling Text Link Ads or Smartlinks.
Yet they do not use these on their site. Curious huh?
I personally find Text link Ads incredibly annoying as a reader - You see what looks like a link to more information, hover over the word, or worse, click on the link and Hey Presto! someone is trying to sell you something. That's not away to make money blogging, it's a way of pissing off your readers.
What do you think? Anyone like these ads?

I agree. I’m just starting to look into monetizing my site, and I’m with you about the text ads. I don’t like to be tricked into buying something – show me a nice ad in the corner, maybe at the bottom of the page, and I’ll consider it. Trick me and I’ll never come back.
