I started my own personal finance blog 4 years ago and I too have experienced the rewards (both financial and otherwise) that blogging can bring. Additionally, I've learned a lot through the process and met a lot of great people! All this because I decided to try something different one day! There is certainly a lot of competition these days when it comes to blogging so I wouldn't get your hopes up too much for overnight success, but if you're passionate about a particular topic and stick with it, readers will come!
