Holy Shit Batman ! Toyota lost Money in 2008?
Well, know it looks as though Toyota have finally broken down. It seems as though the car makers are on a massive losing streak at the moment, but when arguably the most efficient car manufacturer in the known world loses money, WTF does that mean for the big three US makers?
Toyota warned warned on Monday that it would post an operating loss for the first time in its 71-year history as a result of plunging sales and a surge in the value of the yen. The Japanese automaker, which had earned a reputation for turning a profit even in hard times, said it was freezing expansion plans, suspending executive bonuses and reviewing its dividend payout.
All in all, not good news for GM, Chrysler and Ford. They have about as much chance of learning to make decent cars in the next three months as I do of flying. Makes you wonder what Mr. Bush’s idea of donating $17 billion of taxpayers money to fund companies that are destined to go into bankruptcy after the three months is up. So, I guess he just doesn’t want to look bad. Or rather – any worse than he already does. You can’t really blame the idiot from Texas completely for this one.
Please, please buy our shitty cars.
And here are a few more funny car ads, to brighten everyone’s day.

Kudos for creating such a useful weblog. Your site happens to be not just useful but also very creative too. There are a limited number of professionals who can write technical articles that creatively. A lot of people keep looking for articles with regard to this subject. I went through many websites to find knowhow about this.I will check back often !!
Yea just like the insurance industry, the auto industry has really been feeling the heat, even the cheap foreign cars felt the heat in 2009
Toyota builds junk. Safety design defects abound for decades. It doesn’t surprise me that many sheeple actually believe that toyota are quality built cars as they are led by the hand of the media and mythical heresay – and many of these dumb asses voted for Obama. Current domestic offerings are far better cars and value then toyota products. Toyota produces the cheapest cars per unit built ( industry fact), and most recalled car company since 06. Sleeze ball business practice of secret recalls/repairs to build their false reputation decades ago are no longer tolerated – hence the true colors are showing. Settling lawsuits with confidentiality agreements and fleet of lawyers protecting their rep cannot cover up their shitty cars. cronic steering failures, brake failures, rusty frame rails, sludging engines, unintended acceleration issues been covered up since 2000, faulty seat belt latch material, igniting seat belt tensioners, engine fires, substandard roof strength, poor rear crash performance for decades, etc. etc. – yup – old men who didn’t change their oil or maintain their ’shitty domestic’ and soccer moms definitely know who makes the best cars.
I have never owned a Toyota so I couldn’t comment on that. I was just shocked they lost money.
I weight 280 lbs and do not fit in miniature Japanese cars anyway.
Give me a Mercedes anyday….
