Funny Condom Advertisements
It is nice to see some one with a sense of humor around the Olympic games. I personally don’t bother watching any more since they allowed professional athletes and sports to be included. Do I really want to watch Olympic tennis and soccer? No thanks.
Anyway, Chinese condom maker, Elasun, who are not an official sponsor of the games have launched a guerrilla marketing campaign around the games. They apparently rate certain games as “safest.” See if you can guess which ones.
And if you are easily offended and think condom advertising promotes casual sex amongst underage teenagers feel free to hit the “back” button.
They rather missed the plot with the slogan “sports make you health,” but we get the point. They are also poking a little fun at some of the official sponsors.
I do like the rest of their campaigns also. These are a few samples.
I am not quite sure what that last one was all about and I wish I could read Chinese.
And while I was on the subject of funny condom advertisements, I also found a few funny TV ads – Enjoy!

Some of that marketing is very creative. I don’t know that the average SA citizen would get most of the suggestions in the adverts however. Maybe the Japanese are far more sophisticated

disgustingly boring and pseudocreative ads. none of them would work for real. not even in the asian market.
I don’t care if they would work or not. I thought they were funny. Didn’t you?
That billboard is definitely the best of all of them!
Yet another funny post/pictures from you Mark. More more!!
I have never seen an advertising than that;-)
Your post is quite interesting.
LOL. Condom commercials are the funniest!
Some very nice photos, as you can see how well an advertisement can be.
