A Different Point of View, a novel.
After eight years of hard work in a research laboratory, MARY PHILLIPS is ready to change the world. Her invention will have a bigger impact than the internal combustion engine. Unfortunately, things have a way of not working out for Mary. Her boss is working for a shady government organization that wants her invention as a weapon; she’s being followed by a corporate hit man, and Mr. Right turns out to be working for the “good” government, sent in to “get close and protect her.” All along she’d thought it was true love. Yes, sounds good. Thanks for the post.
Looks “interesting”!
Mr. Knowles,
Is this the Mark Knowles who wrote “The Wicked Waltz and Other Scandalous Dances”? If so, I was hoping you could offer me some assistance. I acquired a scrapbook documenting the life of a woman named Martha Grace McClure, of Charleston, West Virginia, who later became Martha McClure Gephart. She was a student at The Elizabeth Studio of Dance Arts, owned by Elizabeth Barger Embleton, in the 1930′s. While performing searches for Elizabeth Barger Embleton, I saw that she was listed, as a reference, in “The Wicked Waltz and Other Scandalous Dances.” I am trying to get this scrapbook back to the family of Martha McClure, as there are pictures of her at dance recitals, newspaper clippings of her performances, cards, etc., but I am hitting dead ends at every turn. Perhaps if you have some information, ANY information, which would be helpful, advising me of such would be greatly appreciated.
Respectfully,
Marina Strohmetz
Hi Marina,
Sorry – no – that is some one else and I’m afraid I can’t help. Good luck though.
@Marina Strohmetz:
Marina, Some of us are working on this on Findagrave. I sent a private message to you on your Facebook account. Also, just a note there are two Martha’s. Martha Gephart McClure Walker and her daughter Martha McClure Lutz. Mrs. Lutz divorced and remarried but haven’t found her married name yet. I believe the Martha you are looking for is the daughter.
